 At school, while playing his PFP, Keima tld Elsie that he cannot find the cause of the gap in Hinoki's heart. He said that if he doesn't get an even relationship with Hinoki, he'll end up being her toy. After that, Kusonoki went to their class and called Keima, the other classmates wondered what Kusonoki has to do with Keima. Elsie and her classmates looked at the window, to see that Kusonoki is pulling Keima.
-After that event, a short commercial happened. Elsie and Haqua in cat costumes went to the rooftop and told Keima to teach them. Keima was wondering what he is getting dragged into and asked the two what is wrong with them. Then, he said that he is in the middle of a crucial capture. Hinoki said that she even went through the trouble of growing really large. Elsie apologized and told Hinoki to wait. Elsie then gave a letter to Keima. After Keima read the letter, he shouted in shocked, because the one who wrote the letter was the editor-in-chief. He also asked what is the meaning of 'capture methods for the new term'. Elsie said that it is a letter fro the editor-in-chied so it can't be helped. Haqua annoyingly said that she was even made to wear the cat costume. Keima refused and said that this is like a backstage blabber from the 80s. He also talked about the relationship of the editor-in-chief and the author, and said he has no duty to do this. Elsie then found out that there is a second page of the letter. Keima read it, then he accepted what the letter wants him to do. After teaching about the capturing methods, Keima said that he's going home, but Elsie stopped him. Keima was angered, and Elsie said there is something left. Chihiro and Ayumi appeared saying that he has no time for a break. Keima was confused, then Haqua and Elsie told him that they are becoming an anime. After that, other girls showed up. He told her that she doesn't destroy the surroundings if she grows, no other people notices it, and she will realize if it caused a disturbance to her surroundings. Elsie told him that the current situation is good, because it will be a real problem if the spirit materializes. Keima asked her what she meant by that. She asked him if he saw what happened to Yui's spirit. Elsie explained that spirits who evolve to level 4 starts to materialize. She told Keima that she doesn't know what will happen if Hinoki's weiss were to revive with a gigantic size. After that Keima told her that if he can't get the runaway spirit out, she can't fathom the outcome. Elsie encouraged him.
 The next day, Keima and Elsie were headed to the dojo. Elsie was happy because she got her hagoromo back. Keima said that it returned to normal even though it was cut up so much. Elsie told him that it is because the hagoromo has no definite form. He told her that they should put the hagoromo to use right away. Elsie asked Keima why he brought a ladder, Keima said it is for eye contact. Elsie asked what he meant by that, Keima answered it is because Hinoki is a giant. Elsie was shocked to see Hinoki as a giant. Keima asked her if she could see that. She told Keima that the hosts of runaways spirits, devils, and buddies can see. After Keima heard that, he told Elsie to leave. Elsie cried, saying that she is again put behind the scenes.

Keima, who understood Kanon's problem, told her that he actually listened, to which Kanon said it's a lie and tries to zap Keima with a stun gun.
