Maita Family (まいた家 Maita-ke) is a royal family and the mascots of Maijima City. They were modeled as mushrooms because the family is known for their not-so-famous Maijima specialty, the Maitake Mushrooms. Residents say that it is disgusting that a family is their mascot.
